Preach the Kingdom

• Kingdom Now – FAITH

• Kingdom Future – HOPE
  • A kingdom is coming, then in fullness…

Teach the King

• He is Lord – We obey/ serve Him
  • He is declared Lord by the resurrection (Acts 2:32,36; Rom 1:4)
  • He is to be served (Col 3:23-25 [note Col 4:1])
  • He calls us friends (John 15:15)
• He is Jesus – He saves/ heals us
  • He saves us from sin (Mat 1:21; Rom 3:23-24; Rom 6:23; 2 Cor 5:21)
  • He heals us of diseases (Mat 8:16-17 with 1 Pet 2:21-24)
  • He teaches us how to live (Gospels)
• He is Christ – He anoints/ empowers
  • He is the Anointed One (Isa 61:1 with Luk 4:18)
  • He fills with the Spirit (John 1:32-34; Luk 24:49 with Acts 1:8; Acts 10:38; and Acts 11:16)
  • He empowers us to live (Gal 5:16-25)

So, Let’s Have at It …

• Extend to others the grace that we have discovered in Christ the King.
• He brought the Kingdom grace of God near to us … let’s bring it near to others.
• Be/Say/Do like the King!
